  23. First off, to verify what I am saying, I refer you to the AmigaReport 
  24. Auction special issue (it's "arAUCTION.lha" in 'docs/mags' on any Aminet 
  25. site).  Escomof Germany did win the bid, but they changed their posiltion 
  26. in favor of Amiga.  A small quote from Bernard van Tienen of Escom:

  37. All of these quotes are from the file I referred you to.  I consider 
  38. Jason Compton (editor of AmigaReport a very reputable source, having 
  39. chatted with him several times on IRC about several topics).  I also 
  40. consider AmigaReport the world's best Amiga magazine.  I picked up the 
  41. final issue of Amiga World a few days ago (for nostalgia, okay? grin), 
  42. and it was all advertisments!  Well, I think I've spewed enough.  Take it 
  43. easy folks.
